Workshop Details
Saturday 28th December, 14:00-16:00 St Mary’s Centre, Rye, TN31 7LB £10 pp This creative workshop for 7-11 year olds will be sure to keep boredom at bay during that tricky time between Christmas and New Year! Participants will have a load of resource material to work with to create their A3 mood boards. They can take their inspiration from the art world, the natural world and a stack of magazines along with pens, pencils & pastels to add a personal touch to their creations. In addition to the mood boards, there will also be other fun paper-based activities to try during the session. All materials will be provided. However, if you would like to bring any of your own collected images to incorporate into your creations, then please do! Ways of Seeing staff and volunteers are checked through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and our adult to child ratio ensures sufficient support throughout the workshop. Guardians can choose to stay with the attendee/s or leave them to it during this creative workshop. We will take photographs of the young people and their work during the session, do let us know if you do not want their images used online/for promotional material. Please note this event is for 7-11yr olds only. Our classes are non-refundable. Terms & Conditions • You can only book places via this website. • Places are booked on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your place. • Bookings and payments will be confirmed by email. • Unless otherwise stated all materials for the workshop will be provided. • If the attendee is unable to attend an event you can send someone else in their place. You must let us know the name of the attendee prior to the event and if different, a new guardian contact. • You can transfer to another event or receive a credit note if you notify us at least 14 days before the date of the event you are booked on to attend. • In exceptional circumstances, where we may have to cancel one of our advertised events you will be offered a full refund. • If an event is cancelled our liability is solely for the cost of the booking fee, not for any other costs you may have incurred such as materials you may have purchased in advance, travel costs or accommodation.
